Create a player account

The account stores your nickname, ranking and match history. Without an account, the game client will not pass login.

After registration, download the build and sign in with the same nickname and password in the game client.

Known issue

Cybermetal is an indie game in active development. The build may contain bugs, so it is worth checking video settings and game window behavior before joining a server.

A problem that can sometimes happen is the mouse escaping outside the game window and focus switching to the desktop. To eliminate this problem, open the game settings, set Game Window to "Windowed", save the change, then set Game Window back to "Full screen".

First launch

On first launch, Windows may show a Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning. This can happen with new game builds.

Windows protected your PC message with the Run anyway button — If you see this message, click **Run anyway**.

A message like the one in the screenshot may appear on first launch.

In that case, click Run anyway to launch the Cybermetal client.

This message can appear for new builds that do not yet have reputation history in Windows.
