The Arena

Cybermetal is designed as an arena game, not a linear shooter built only around lanes.

Game map

The arena should be a space the player reads, controls and exploits. Height, entry angles, return routes, places to regain advantage, control zones and risk points all matter.

Combat should not be only about holding a single angle. The player should be encouraged to move, reposition, use the map and make aggressive decisions.
